Introduction to Project Management 1 (1 Day)

This 1-Day workshop covers the basic concepts and functions of project management, and their integration into a coherent project management framework.


It is created for new project managers, team and technical leads, team members and those with no formal PM training. It is also a wonderful refresher for those that need to spouse up their PM skills.


This very intensive workshop using actual project allows participants to apply their new skills immediately. The emphasis throughout the course is on making project management easy to understand and apply in the workplace. This course will allow project managers to identify and eliminate critical pitfalls and establish consistent project success.


Students taking this course address how to:

  • Define the problem and establish specific and measurable targets
  • Find, analyze and properly plan for project risks and threats
  • Create a communications plan for reporting to stakeholders
  • Quickly breakdown the work/tasks into manageable units
  • Estimate the amount of work and time involved in the tasks
  • Create a workable schedule that everyone can understand and use
  • Carry out effective project meetings

Introduction to Project Management 2 (1 Day)

Pre-requisite: Introduction to Project Management 1 

Part 2 builds a further understanding of project management methodology specifically in:

  • Time Management 
  • Cost Management
  • Risk Management
  • Human Resource Management
  • Communication Management

This 1-Day workshop follows the same “hands on” approach as in Part 1. This very intensive workshop using actual projects allows participants to apply their new skills immediately. The emphasis throughout the course is on making project management easy to understand and apply in the workplace.

Introduction to Project Management 3 (1 Day)

Pre-requisite: Introduction to Project Management 2 


This 1-Day workshop is designed for developing project managers who want to establish and build successful high-performance teams using modern practical team-building principles and practices. 


Discuss Leadership is presented as a key attribute in team development and conflict resolution.  

Learn about the phases of team development, including building trust, running efficient team meetings, developing team synergy, communicating and reaching sound decisions as a team, and measuring team success. 

Students will acquire valuable team-building skills through exercises, and team-building tools.

Negotiation Skills for Project Managers (1 Day)

This 1-Day workshop is designed to prepare and conduct efficient and effective negotiations with team members and outside customers/vendors. Participants are shown how to understand and use the Negotiation techniques as a means for moving people from ineffective negotiating strategies and tactics to more cooperative and mutually beneficial approaches.

Negotiation simulations help students translate new knowledge into job-related skills.

Procurement Project Management (1 Day)

This 1-Day workshop course provides professionals with the contracting process to add value, increase profitability and improve customer satisfaction.

How to develop effective requests for proposals;

  • Managing and controlling vendors; and

MS Project Essentials (1 Day)

This is a 1-Day hands-on training session discussing the terms used in project management and in the software, practical lessons on creating, updating, tracking and reporting within MS Project 2013.

This 1-Day intense workshop is designed for practicing project managers who are looking to write their PMP exam. In this course, you'll gain the essential preparation needed to pass the PMP and CAPM exams. Concentrating on exam content from the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge - Fourth Edition (PMBOK® Guide) and other sources, this course includes a wide variety of learning tools and study aids, all using PMI® terminology.

This course will: 

  •  Prepare you to take the PMP or CAPM exams 
  • Focus on PMBOK® Guide terms, definitions, and processes
  • Review types of questions found on the PMP or CAPM exams
